Well there's rocks, and there's water.  I don't really know what else to say.. I did a lot of these paintings and they all sold.  Then I realized I wanted one for myself, so I did this one to hang on to.  The impulse to go this direction happened about 15-20 years ago, when I was out camping with a church youth group.  I was wandering around this riverbed and trying to figure out what to paint, and just looked down. And it seemed to speak to my soul.  Water flowing, and moving between and around rocks, rippling, reflecting... it's mesmerizing.
